Biography

Blake is a native of southern California who came to Oklahoma on a basketball scholarship where he played two years for Northern Oklahoma College. Blake then played Division I basketball at Marist College in Poughkeepsie, New York. He earned his B.S. in Business Management, summa cum laude, in 2001 from Marist College. While at Marist, he served as Team Captain, was selected as a NCAA Academic All-American and finished his career in the top 10 in 3 Point Shooting FG% and 3FG Made in Marist basketball history.

Following his time at Marist, Blake returned to Oklahoma and earned his J.D. from the University of Oklahoma College of Law, with highest honors. During law school, he was a Comfort Scholar, graduated Order of the Coif, and served as Note Editor on the Editorial Board of the Oklahoma Law Review. Following law school, Blake worked for McAfee & Taft, Oklahoma’s largest law firm.

Since 2006, Blake has owned and operated his own civil litigation law firm in Norman, OK. Blake is an experienced trial lawyer who has tried numerous cases in state and federal court as well as over 60 administrative trials. Blake’s litigation practice focuses on consumer law, insurance bad faith, personal injury, complex commercial and business disputes, labor and employment law, fraud, and securities litigation. In his last four jury trials in Cleveland County, Blake secured an award of punitive damages for his clients. 

Blake is admitted to practice law before the Oklahoma Supreme Court, the Western District of Oklahoma, the Northern District of Oklahoma, the Eastern District of Oklahoma, and the Tenth Circuit Court of Appeals. He resides in Norman with his wife T.J., a native Oklahoman, and their six children.
