Biography

Nicole Jones graduated from the University of Oklahoma with a bachelor’s degree in Communication. She is a member of the Oklahoma County Bar Association, Young Lawyers Board of Directors, Oklahoma City Association of Black Lawyers. She was a recipient of the Bill Gates Millenium Scholar throughout her undergraduate studies. She graduated from law school at the University of Oklahoma College of Law in 2021. She was awarded the Oklahoma County Bar Association’s Outstanding Young Lawyer Award in 2023.

During law school, she interned at a civil defense law firm in Oklahoma City and gained experience in the areas of medical malpractice, premises liability, negligence, civil rights and § 1983 Claims, and employment law. She placed second at the Whitten Burrage Negotiations Competition in 2018 and second place at the National Black Law Student International Negotiations Competition in 2020. She was a member of the Student Bar Association Board of Governors in 2021 and Black Law Student Association Executive Board from 2019-2021. After law school, she did insurance defense for two and a half years at a firm in Oklahoma City.
